Writer’s block – should I write in English or in my mother tongue?

During the recent weeks I’ve been wondering the direction this blog is going to. I’m writing articles in my work place blog also, so just copypasting the material to my own platform seems both redundant and boring. On the other hand, it is a good method of personal branding and having the material with me, should the ways part with the employer.

I decided to continue this blog in English. Partly so I can practice the language, and partly to expand the audience. I still have to re-examine the sweet spot of the blog, but I decided to have that happening as I go along. Too much planning prevents anything starting. It also feels artificial to plan it out too carefully.

As a direct result comes the fact that I need to write more often that I’ve previously have written. Otherwise the sweetspot is never going to reveal itself. And, as a result of that, I need to write despite I don’t have anything witty to say.

Maybe that makes me a wannabe-writer a writer.
